•Benchling’s Data Platform team empowers scientists to manage and analyze their research data effectively on a large scale, facilitating the development of future bioscience technologies. We are seeking a part-time contract UX Designer to create intuitive experiences for Enterprise users. Collaborating closely with customers, Product Management, and Engineering teams, you will deliver solutions to meet the needs of our clients.
•The ideal candidate for this role will adeptly balance intricate customer requirements with scalable, cohesive, and engaging user experiences within an agile setting.
•3+ years of experience or equivalent* in designing software products, particularly SaaS, with a strong user-centric focus
•A compelling portfolio showcasing successful design work for data-driven products
•Proven expertise in product architectures and data-centric workflows
•Excellent communication skills to elucidate complex technical decisions
•Background in contributing to design systems for sophisticated software products
•Experience collaborating with Product Management and Engineering teams in an agile environment
•Knowledge in data modeling, data science, or CRM development is advantageous but not mandatory
