• You will become a valued member of a burgeoning Product Design team consisting of over 25 designers, researchers, and design authorities.
• Play a pivotal role in enhancing our Database Observability product (DB O11y).
• This innovative product empowers application developers and database administrators to identify, troubleshoot, and enhance latency issues.
• The DB O11y product is presently in a phase of Private Preview.
• Engage with customer and user feedback to pinpoint areas for enhancing the user experience.
• Collaborate with fellow designers on creating seamless cross-product experiences and engage in design evaluations.
• Contribute to internal team initiatives and aid in the development of innovative work methods, learning opportunities, and team-building activities.
• Demonstrated experience in designing for developers, database administrators (DBAs), or other highly technical user groups
• A proven track record of delivering effective designs for intricate products within fast-paced environments
• Proficiency in synthesizing business objectives, product strategies, customer feedback, research insights, and technical considerations to create practical, coherent, and scalable design solutions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse, geographically dispersed cross-functional teams in an iterative manner while upholding the overarching design vision
• Previous experience working autonomously in a remote setting, showcasing a proactive mindset, a penchant for growth, and a commitment to clarity, transparency, and continual enhancement
• Familiarity with implementing product analytics, conducting user interviews, and leveraging data-driven insights to make informed decisions
• Ability to swiftly grasp technical domains and user workflows to design compelling experiences within those domains
• Capability to devise new design patterns and components as necessary, while ensuring consistency in components, patterns, and visuals across the Grafana ecosystem
