• Participate in defining the overall strategy and making decisions regarding product direction
• Assist in delivering and refining compelling narratives related to product requirements and opportunities
• Collaborate across departments such as product management, engineering, design, and research
• Develop, work on, and enhance flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
• Design and implement high-quality enhancements to products
• Influence the evolution of design system features within Figma
• Take ownership and implement significant feature enhancements in the Figma Design Editor
• Minimum of 5 years experience in creating user-friendly, top-notch UX and UI for intricate systems
• Exceptional attention to detail, capable of designing refined interactions, visuals, and scalable systems
• Proven track record of independently leading the design process from exploration to launch
• Experience in designing for complex or system-oriented experiences (e.g., billing, admin tools, onboarding processes)
• Proficient in articulating design decisions, incorporating feedback, and collaborating with diverse teams
• Familiarity with developing and managing design systems at scale (a plus but not mandatory)
• Comfortable dealing with uncertainties and transforming open-ended challenges into actionable design objectives (a plus but not mandatory)
• Demonstrates a creative problem-solving mindset and enthusiasm for generating ideas (a plus but not mandatory)
