Product Designer II – Ads Experiences

📋 Description

• Responsible for creating and implementing end-to-end solutions for our consumer advertising platform that seamlessly integrate into the shopping experience, aligning customer intent with the objectives of CPG brands and retailers

• Utilize data and experimentation to analyze the effectiveness of ad placements, enhance relevance, and boost engagement rates in complex and uncertain problem areas

• Collaborate with various consumer-facing teams to develop a common understanding of challenges, foster collaboration to tackle intricate issues, and experiment with new ideas that are user-friendly, engaging, and impactful

• Present innovative ideas demonstrating how Instacart's advertising platform supports brands in achieving their objectives through creative solutions, merging data-driven insights with compelling narratives to captivate and motivate advertisers

• Implement and optimize design systems in Figma to elevate visual design while ensuring compliance with WCAG accessibility standards

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital product design, with a preference for experience in consumer products or advertising

• Ability to collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to define project scope, agree on trade-offs, and deliver high-quality, user-centered design solutions

• Proven track record of success in iterative environments, utilizing experimentation, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making

• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in cross-functional collaboration to address and resolve complex challenges

• Proficient in maintaining comprehensive design documentation to facilitate smooth collaboration in both synchronous and asynchronous remote work settings

• Strong portfolio showcasing problem-solving skills, craftsmanship, and high-quality design; a link to your portfolio (and password if applicable) is required for consideration
