Product Designer

📋 Description

• Lead the end-to-end product design process for key workflows in our web-based products, including discovery, concepting, detailed design, delivery, and iteration

• Transform complex healthcare and real-world evidence use cases into intuitive and user-friendly flows and interfaces

• Identify projects suitable for designer contractors, collaborate with product managers to oversee their work, and review final deliverables before implementation

• Develop materials for usability testing with clinicians and enterprise users in partnership with product managers, and implement design decisions based on feedback

• Work with data science to create data-rich experiences that effectively communicate methods, uncertainty, and results to non-technical users

• Produce prototypes of varying fidelity to explore ideas efficiently and align stakeholders

• Establish and uphold our design system in collaboration with engineering and contract designers

• Work closely with product management and engineering teams to define requirements and ensure high-quality implementation

• Advocate for usability, accessibility, and ethical AI use throughout the product development process

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product/UX design, with a focus on web-based or SaaS products

• At least 2 years of experience overseeing work done by contract designers

• Portfolio showcasing ownership of complex workflow- or data-heavy products

• Strong skills in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design, with the ability to simplify complex concepts

• Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools like Figma

• Experience collaborating with product managers and engineers in an agile environment

• Ability to effectively communicate design rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and a strong inclination towards learning and innovation

• Interest in healthcare, life sciences, and data-driven decision-making
