• GitBook is a platform for documentation that enables companies to enhance their product experience with exceptional documentation.

• We are seeking a Product Designer who upholds high-quality standards and possesses a systems-thinking approach.

• Take complete ownership of visual and interaction design for GitBook's product.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams from concept to implementation.

• Directly contribute to UI implementation using technologies like React, TypeScript, and CSS.

• Develop and uphold GitBook's Design System to ensure visual consistency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design within product-focused teams.

• A portfolio showcasing exceptional product thinking and strong visual design skills.

• Experience working with or contributing to Design Systems.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate design decisions to non-designers.

• Proficient in writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (knowledge of React is a strong asset).
