Product Designer

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the end-to-end product UI/UX for Status Apps on mobile, desktop, and web platforms.

• Collaborate with product teams and developers to define and enhance user flows, use cases, and interfaces for new and existing features of Status Apps.

• Create storyboards, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and UI kits for Status app products across various platforms.

• Conduct research and prototype new UI/UX feature implementations.

• Establish scalable UI/UX design workflows to support development teams efficiently.

• Develop and maintain a cohesive design system consistent with the Status brand.

• Anticipate and address system capabilities for error states, loading states, and implementation efforts.

• Collaborate with development teams to provide UI/UX design support throughout the development process.

• Conduct user research and usability testing in partnership with product teams to inform product decisions.

• Simplify complex crypto and Web3 concepts into intuitive user experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of mobile UI/UX experience with designs across mobile, desktop, and web platforms.

• Prior experience in startups and ability to thrive in fast-paced, adaptable environments.

• UI/UX work on Web2/Web3 products such as crypto wallets, messengers, or social platforms.

• Active involvement in web3/crypto/privacy communities with open-source contributions and projects.

• Proficient in Figma and willingness to use other design tools when necessary.

• Skilled in creating and editing product images/videos as required.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote, async-first settings.

• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently without constant supervision.

• Curiosity and eagerness to stay updated on tech, privacy, and decentralization trends.

• Located in or near the European time zone and fluent in English.
