• We are seeking an experienced Product Designer to join Aptos Labs and play a crucial role in shaping the future of consumer crypto interactions. This position goes beyond just creating designs in Figma; it involves influencing the design culture and trajectory of a fast-paced team within a highly technical environment.
• As part of our small yet ambitious design team, you will contribute to developing cutting-edge products from scratch, including our flagship wallets, DeFi offerings, and various on-chain consumer experiences. The ideal candidate excels in the initial uncertain phase of projects but also possesses the skill to scale systems, organization, and design excellence as products (and companies) evolve.
• We are in search of a seasoned, self-driven Product Designer to join our consumer-focused team, primarily focusing on DeFi products such as our flagship wallet solutions and broader consumer applications. In this role, you will take ownership of your projects from start to finish, covering UX flows, wireframes, and refined, high-fidelity mockups.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in product design, including at least one position at a venture-backed startup
• Proven track record of launching consumer-centric products, particularly in complex sectors like fintech, crypto, or marketplaces
• Experience navigating various stages of growth, from initial zero-to-one phases to rapid expansion and maturity
• Exceptional visual design capabilities showcased through tangible product deliveries, not just a polished portfolio
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a history of taking the lead in uncertain environments or overseeing a product area comprehensively
• Genuine interest in crypto, DeFi, and emerging technologies, whether through professional exposure or personal exploration—prior knowledge of wallets, decentralized exchanges, and other DeFi protocols is highly valued
• Strong communication skills, especially in articulating design decisions to cross-functional colleagues
• Eagerness to continuously learn and grow, demonstrating a proactive approach to self-education and exploration of new domains
