📋 Description

• Create intuitive interfaces for various systems such as LLMs, APIs, routing, pricing, and latency

• Transform vague concepts into tangible product strategies and experiences

• Take ownership of projects from concept to production stage

• Develop high-quality landing pages and growth platforms

• Establish scalable templates for emails, content, and campaigns

• Assist in enhancing OpenRouter's visual identity as the product grows

• Utilize AI tools to expedite design, prototyping, and iteration processes

• Seamlessly transition between design tools, coding environments, and production settings

• Rapidly prototype ideas and validate them through real-world usage

• Contribute to and refine the design system

• Create reusable design patterns for technical and data-driven interfaces

• Ensure consistency across product and marketing platforms

• Collaborate closely with engineers in a dynamic, agile environment

• Review and comprehend PRs, frontend changes, and implementation specifics as necessary

• Contribute to product and growth strategies, not just their execution

• Communicate ideas through prototypes and actual implementations rather than lengthy specifications

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess 3–8+ years of experience in product design

• Showcase a robust portfolio of successfully delivered projects

• Have experience working with intricate or technical products like developer tools, SaaS, and data-rich applications

• Comfortable interpreting frontend code, PRs, and engineering processes

• Capable of collaborating directly with engineers on implementation details

• Proficient in using code-based or AI-assisted tools for prototyping and iteration

• Coding skills are advantageous but not mandatory

• Strong ability to simplify complex systems

• Exhibit good judgment in scoping, prioritizing, and making trade-offs

• Comfortable working in ambiguous situations

• Uphold high standards in visual and interaction design as well as clarity

• Able to deliver production-ready work with minimal revisions

• Attentive to detail across product and marketing channels
