• Contribute to the advancement of Prima's Design System by designing, documenting, and maintaining scalable UI components and interaction patterns.
• Define visual and interaction standards to ensure a consistent experience across all products and platforms.
• Design with accessibility in mind (WCAG, color contrast, keyboard interaction) and promote inclusive design practices.
• Collaborate with developers on component lifecycle management, updates, and deprecation following versioning and contribution workflows.
• Create clear design documentation and usage guidelines in Figma and Notion for system adoption and ease of use.
• Collaborate with engineers, product designers, product managers, and content specialists for design and code alignment.
• Support internal teams in adopting the Design System through reviews, feedback sessions, and shared learning.
• Stay updated on industry standards, design tooling, and accessibility guidelines to evolve the system over time.
• Mid-level experience with 2–3 years in product or system design, preferably with a focus on design system contributions.
• Portfolio showcasing expertise in UI design foundations, systems thinking, and consistency across complex products.
• Proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, Variants, Tokens, Component Libraries) and knowledge of prototyping and handoff best practices.
• Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA) and ability to design components and patterns meeting those standards.
• Experience designing in a scalable manner, understanding modularity, scalability, and design tokens. Familiarity with documentation tools like Notion, Zeroheight, or Storybook.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with developers and designers for design-system-to-code alignment.
• Curiosity for exploring new design methods, accessibility improvements, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Full flexibility to work from home, the office, or a mix of both. Work from anywhere for up to 30 days a year.
