• Lead the user experience strategy for marketplace and subscription products, reporting directly to the founders.
• Manage the entire design process from research, wireframing, prototyping, to final UI delivery.
• Transform user requirements and business objectives into user-friendly and sophisticated product experiences.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and founders to define and prioritize design solutions.
• Develop wireframes, flows, and interactive prototypes to convey design choices effectively.
• Uphold and enhance a consistent design system for scalability and coherence.
• Champion user experience while considering business priorities.
• Iterate rapidly on designs based on user feedback, data, and product performance metrics.
• Produce high-quality visual designs and assets for implementation.
• Take complete ownership of design projects from start to finish, collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver designs impacting a large user base.
• Demonstrated experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role at a SaaS, marketplace, or product-led growth company.
• Impressive portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work encompassing both UX and UI.
• Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma or equivalents.
• Sound understanding of usability principles, interaction design, and responsive layouts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with resource constraints.
• Independent and responsible with meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in English and based in North or South America.
• Prior experience with 2-sided marketplaces.
• Experience in designing marketing websites or landing pages.
• Graphic design skills (e.g. marketing assets, social media, or brand visuals).
• Familiarity with motion/interaction design or rapid prototyping tools.
• Knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JS) to facilitate communication with engineers.
• Fully remote position with a focus on asynchronous work.
• Monthly salary ranging from $2,000 to $3,000 USD.
