Product Designer

📋 Description

• Create and uphold a scalable design system

• Enhance visual and interaction consistency throughout the platform

• Revamp intricate UI panels for clarity and uniformity

• Travel to on-site locations to collaborate with operators and gather feedback

• Conduct organized usability testing with operators and integrate findings into design enhancements

• Translate field observations and operator behavior into design refinements

• Develop intuitive workflows for various mission profiles and user roles

• Prototype new interaction patterns for diverse control scenarios

• Enhance information hierarchy in data-rich environments

• Collaborate with the Product Manager and the Director of Product to prioritize tasks

• Work closely with engineering to ensure design implementation aligns with the vision

• Clearly communicate design decisions with stakeholders

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing complex software applications

• Proficiency in designing real-time control software

• Led complete design processes from discovery to implementation

• Conducted on-site usability testing with operators

• Expertise in using Figma

• Excellent communication skills

• Exposure to command-and-control systems is preferred

• Familiarity with defense or government program environments is preferred

• Experience in designing for hardware-integrated software is preferred
