Product Designer, Pay

📋 Description

• Shape guest-facing experiences, particularly focusing on payment experiences and the payment innovation ecosystem.

• Enhance our interfaces with consumer-grade polish to ensure they are intuitive, accessible, and engaging.

• Collaborate with various teams to prototype, build, and refine designs that bring joy and utility to our users.

• Use behavioral data and user feedback to iterate and optimize the guest experience.

• Translate UX concepts into wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes.

• Create intuitive, polished, and accessible end-to-end experiences for native and responsive platforms.

• Maintain design consistency by contributing to shared design systems and component libraries.

• Build interactive prototypes and test new features quickly to validate hypotheses and guide product direction.

• Design exceptional AI-first experiences that address customer needs using AI tools and contribute to a culture of innovation.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, marketers, and researchers to deliver consumer-first solutions.

• Actively participate in design critiques, reviews, and user research to inform the product roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in designing native mobile and responsive web applications with consumer-grade visual appeal.

• Interest in new design tools and emerging AI technologies to enhance restaurant/guest outcomes.

• Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools, as well as strong knowledge of accessibility best practices.

• Strong foundation in UX fundamentals, including journey mapping, behavioral insights, and data-driven iteration.

• Attention to detail and product-thinking mindset.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to explain design decisions clearly to cross-functional teams.

• Ability to adapt and work in fast-paced, iterative environments.

• Growth mindset, open to feedback and committed to continuous learning.

• Passion for creating surprising, delightful, and user-centric experiences.

• Experience contributing to design systems or component libraries.

• Familiarity with front-end implementation and performance considerations.

• Base salary range: $115,000 - $184,000 USD
