🎯 Requirements
• 8+ years of experience in design, with at least 5 years in management roles
• Proven ability to inspire and lead design teams toward ambitious goals
• Experience mentoring and developing senior and staff designers
• Experience managing hybrid, remote, and diverse teams
• Ability to articulate a clear product and design vision
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a strategic thought partner to engineering and product leadership
• Experience elevating design's influence in technically-focused organizations
• Track record of balancing short-term delivery with long-term strategic initiatives
• Deep understanding of design thinking, systems thinking, and user-centered methodologies
• Experience building and scaling design systems and component libraries
• Commitment to design excellence
• Strong technical understanding of platform engineering concepts
• Ability to engage in technical discussions and influence architectural decisions
• Passion for platforms, developer productivity, and developer experience
• Familiarity with design practices at the intersection of User Experience and AI
• Strong ability to build relationships and drive alignment with cross-functional partners
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven track record of driving alignment and adoption of successful cross-organizational initiatives
