β’ 8+ years of experience in design, with at least 5 years in management roles
β’ Proven ability to inspire and lead design teams toward ambitious goals
β’ Experience mentoring and developing senior and staff designers
β’ Experience managing hybrid, remote, and diverse teams
β’ Ability to articulate a clear product and design vision
β’ Demonstrated ability to serve as a strategic thought partner to engineering and product leadership
β’ Experience elevating design's influence in technically-focused organizations
β’ Track record of balancing short-term delivery with long-term strategic initiatives
β’ Deep understanding of design thinking, systems thinking, and user-centered methodologies
β’ Experience building and scaling design systems and component libraries
β’ Commitment to design excellence
β’ Strong technical understanding of platform engineering concepts
β’ Ability to engage in technical discussions and influence architectural decisions
β’ Passion for platforms, developer productivity, and developer experience
β’ Familiarity with design practices at the intersection of User Experience and AI
β’ Strong ability to build relationships and drive alignment with cross-functional partners
β’ Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
β’ Proven track record of driving alignment and adoption of successful cross-organizational initiatives
