• Take charge of complex and impactful product design initiatives aimed at enhancing user experience, spanning from initial concepts to UI design.
• Uphold design excellence and provide guidance to fellow designers.
• Collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product Management, Research, Design, Marketing, and Data Science within our Atlassian product range.
• Utilize various user research methods and principles to understand customer needs and shape design solutions.
• Contribute to the enhancement of our Design System by developing new components, templates, and standards.
• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in professional UX/UI product design, implementing user-centered design principles to tackle complex challenges.
• Proficiency in visual design, encompassing layout strategies, responsive design, data visualization, and motion design.
• Strong UX design skills including design thinking, user research, persona development, concept modeling, flow diagrams, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, etc.
• Ability to engage in iterative design processes: from sketching and sharing work to validating with customers, iterating, shipping, and learning.
• Experience in conducting and applying customer research.
