• The Design Systems team at HubSpot is responsible for creating the foundation of a top-tier user experience.
• With a system that supports over 2,400 product managers, UXers, and engineers, including 350+ coded components, 300+ illustrations, extensive documentation, and a flexible contribution model.
• We are a diverse team committed to shaping the future of our design system to enhance the consistency and customer-centric approach of HubSpot products, focusing on quality and driving value for customers and the business.
• We are seeking a designer to lead the way in utilizing motion UX design to enhance our product experiences.
• You will establish principles, patterns, and tools that bring clarity, coherence, and emotional impact, integrating motion as a fundamental aspect of our design system.
• Showcase a portfolio featuring system-level motion design solutions for intricate UX challenges, demonstrating attention to detail and a passion for crafting effective and expressive motion patterns, prototypes, and assets.
• Profound knowledge of motion principles, usability, accessibility, and interaction design.
• Demonstrated experience in creating unique motion patterns that reflect a brand and product identity.
• Proven track record of implementing motion elements in production-ready systems, collaborating closely with engineers.
• Proficiency in developing and documenting component libraries and token strategies.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, lead projects, and make well-informed decisions in a dynamic setting.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities to influence cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Advanced skills in utilizing Figma, After Effects, and Lottie.
• Inquisitive mindset with a keen interest in emerging tools like Replit and Lovable to expedite idea conceptualization.
• The compensation package includes base salary, on-target commission, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles.
• Eligible roles may also participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs).
• Some positions may qualify for overtime pay.
