• We are in search of a Senior Product Designer to join our Product team and create a captivating experience for a diverse range of payments products and features.
• This position entails spearheading design efforts for complex B2B workflows, collaborating across teams, and developing user-friendly product experiences that align with usability, business objectives, and technical constraints.
• You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to uncover opportunities, deeply understand user requirements, and translate insights into scalable design solutions.

• This position is available in the US, Canada, or UK.
• Design comprehensive experiences: Develop journey maps, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that address user needs and business objectives.
• Conduct user research to obtain insights, validate design choices, and continuously enhance product offerings.
• Establish and maintain design systems to ensure uniformity, scalability, and efficiency across NMI's products.
• Compare designs with competitors in the industry and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in designing B2B digital products and systems, with a robust portfolio demonstrating your process, range of work, and impact.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and excellent communication skills: effectively communicate design decisions and processes regardless of the audience.
• Strong verbal and visual presentation skills with a clear design perspective.
• Ability to think innovatively and iterate, utilizing experimentation and rapid prototyping to explore and validate ideas efficiently, and effectively communicate trade-offs.
• Proficiency in Figma and experience in creating and maintaining design systems.
• Eagerness to explore AI tools such as v0 or Cursor to enhance design and research processes.
• Background in fintech, SaaS, or payments—understanding of security, compliance, and intricate processes is a plus.
• Experience in designing for Product-Led Growth (PLG), including growth funnels, self-serve journeys, and onboarding experiences (consumer or B2B).
• Experience in consolidating multiple products or platforms into a cohesive design system, promoting consistency and scalability across experiences.
• Experience with developer-facing products, particularly in the API, SDK, or platform-as-a-product realm.
• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing, with a proven ability to translate findings into actionable designs.
• Familiarity with service design techniques (e.g., journey mapping, service blueprints) and the ability to consider product design within the context of service design.
