• As the Lead Product Designer at Terraform, your primary focus will be on enhancing the user experience for Terraform and its integrated infrastructure applications.
• Utilize generative research to identify strategic improvement opportunities.
• Shape the product design vision, strategy, and direction while ensuring team alignment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative workflows for infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
• Develop seamless and valuable experiences for platform engineering teams and developers.
• Lead and mentor a team of product designers to maintain alignment and drive innovation.
• Conduct various research efforts and guide the adoption of research methods within the team.
• Coordinate design-related activities and align on design direction with your teams.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to establish priorities, goals, and roadmaps.
• Work iteratively in an agile environment to refine designs based on user feedback.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize new features critical to the success of HashiCorp customers.
• Mentor other designers, share your work, and provide constructive feedback in design critique sessions.
• Display a passion for design and thrive in ambiguous situations.
• Possess experience as a Lead Product Designer in enterprise software products.
• Have a background in building enterprise software for infrastructure or developer tools.
• Ability to simplify complex technical workflows into user-friendly experiences.
• Understand the impact of decisions on product quality, efficiency, and customer adoption.
• Recognize the significance of team culture and fostering a high-functioning environment.
