📋 Description

• Leading design projects by utilizing both quantitative and qualitative research insights, rapid iteration, and testing to develop data-informed, user-centered solutions

• Transforming broad, conceptual ideas into practical, user-friendly, and valuable solutions for mobile and web platforms

• Prototyping, testing, and iterating to ensure seamless flow, interactions, motion, and accessibility in both 'discovery' and 'delivery' phases

• Advocating for users by engaging in research sessions, site visits, usability testing, focus groups, and user conferences

• Addressing immediate design needs while progressively advancing long-term vision

• Collaborating with product teams, including product managers, developers, and data scientists, to contribute to strategic product planning

• Enhancing and promoting adoption of the design system to maintain consistent, on-brand, responsive, and accessible experiences

• Defining and documenting visual design elements such as typography, color, iconography, components, and patterns

• Conducting regular audits of products and the design system to identify and rectify inconsistencies, enhancing design quality, usability, and accessibility

• Taking ownership of the design process from initial whiteboard sketches to final implementation

• Actively participating in the design community, sharing ideas, learning how to leverage AI effectively, and contributing to knowledge-sharing sessions


⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a relevant degree or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a product designer for mobile and web products

• Proficiency in visual design and a strong foundation in UX design

• Ability to create simple, inclusive, and elegant products that cater to various screen sizes

• Experience in developing Design Systems or playing a significant role in their creation

• A robust portfolio showcasing user-centered design practices and execution (portfolio link required in application)

• Experience in conducting research such as usability testing

• Strong team player and communicator who simplifies complexity, crafts compelling narratives, and excels in customer and senior level interactions

• Knowledge of inclusive design and accessibility principles

• Proficiency in written and spoken English

• Preferred: Strong technical acumen and experience collaborating closely with developers

• Preferred: Experience in building Figma design system libraries that are accessible, scalable, and integrated into team workflows

• Preferred: Experience in designing and working with AI and machine learning technologies

• Preferred: Solid understanding of HTML/CSS, web frameworks, and React

• Preferred: Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with remote, globally distributed teams
