• Take the lead in designing mobile features to enhance data collection and patient experience on Beacon's mobile apps
• Conduct UX research, including interviews, usability studies, and field research, to shape product strategy and validate design choices
• Develop high-fidelity prototypes, interaction models, and visual designs that simplify complex clinical workflows
• Establish user-centered design systems and reusable components for consistency and scalability
• Translate intricate clinical requirements into intuitive and compliant product experiences
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-quality products
• Maintain clear design documentation and research insights to support cross-functional alignment and product evolution
• Promote a culture of experimentation, craftsmanship, and empathy within Beacon by advocating for users and driving product excellence
• 7-10 years of experience in product design
• Proficiency in working with complex clinical products and regulated medical devices
• Experience in mobile and web application design
• Strong skills in UX research, including planning, facilitating, analyzing, and communicating user research
• Familiarity with Figma and Figjam
• Ability to simplify complex workflows through interaction design, prototyping, and iterative testing
• Demonstrated expertise in mobile design, user research, systems thinking, and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience with design systems and translating user needs into product direction
• Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills for team alignment
• Strong asynchronous communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
