• Take ownership of end-to-end feature design by collaborating with Product and Engineering to break down ideas, define scope, and determine the appropriate level of fidelity for each phase.
• Communicate clear and well-reasoned design decisions using Figma to create visually engaging concepts for Product, Engineering, and Data & Advisory stakeholders.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research through interviews, usability tests, Mixpanel data analysis, and competitive research to drive new feature development.
• Infuse customer empathy into UX decisions by building relationships, presenting ideas, and leading feedback sessions with cross-functional teams and users.
• Design clear and intuitive data-heavy workflows by applying strong information architecture skills to simplify complex user journeys.
• Establish design standards, processes, and rituals to support high-quality work and facilitate team scalability.
• Manage and enhance the design system by owning the component library and visual patterns to create a cohesive design language.
• Influence long-term product direction by collaborating closely with the VP of Product to translate insights and business needs into a strategic design vision.
• Possess 5+ years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating ownership of complex end-to-end product projects.
• Experience designing data-heavy, B2B products with a focus on creating clear, intuitive experiences from complex information.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to developing new products from ideation to execution and shipment.
• Collaborated effectively with engineering, data, and product teams in fast-paced environments to drive project progress.
• Thrived in small, high-trust teams by making autonomous decisions, navigating shifting priorities, and delivering high-quality work consistently.
• Adapted well to changing requirements and the dynamic nature of startup environments while maintaining a focus on delivering quality product work.
