• Spearhead and oversee design initiatives for the Camera team, utilizing the CDH (Continuous Discovery Habits) framework.
• Foresee potential obstacles, proactively map out pathways to success, and align design efforts with delivering tangible business value.
• Collaborate across departments with Product and Engineering to ensure congruence on learning objectives, success criteria, and implementation of design solutions.
• Effectively communicate design choices with solid reasoning, actively seeking input, and promoting streamlined communication with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
• Elevate the standards for the wider design team by introducing external perspectives, diverse process expertise, and a culture of continuous enhancement.
• Guide designers at the contributor level, aiding in their professional development through critiques, workshops, and transparent feedback.
• Contribute to and refine our design system, guaranteeing uniformity and scalability across various products.
• Advocate for accessibility and user-friendliness, ensuring inclusive experiences for all users.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Designer, with a minimum of 2 years shipping features for a SaaS product.
• Profound experience in mobile product design. Candidates lacking mobile experience will not be considered.
• Proficiency in designing for real-world device interactions and limited environments (e.g. camera, hardware, field-based tools).
• Exceptional craftsmanship and product discernment, with a history of enhancing the quality of work in your surroundings.
• Strong foundation in UX principles, with the ability to conceptualize workflows, not just individual screens.
