• Lead end-to-end design initiatives for your product area, from initial discovery to final product delivery
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and engineering teams, influencing direction early on and validating ideas before diving into detailed design
• Conduct regular customer interactions to incorporate insights directly into the design process
• Actively utilize AI tools throughout the design process to conduct research, generate concepts, and prototype solutions efficiently
• Identify and address conceptual gaps and usability issues early in the process to avoid complications during development
• Translate user requirements, business priorities, and technical limitations into scalable design solutions
• Clearly communicate design choices to stakeholders across product, engineering, and leadership teams
• Foster a design-centric culture that emphasizes quality, thoroughness, and collaboration across functions
• Proven experience in leading design efforts for significant product areas, balancing user needs, business objectives, and technical requirements
• Strong background in UX, information architecture, and interaction design
• Natural ability for strategic workflow planning, anticipating gaps and potential issues before they arise
• Sound product judgment, understanding when to dive deep, when to iterate quickly, and how to make effective trade-offs
• Portfolio showcasing product-focused thinking and clear design rationale across various projects
• Comfort with ambiguity and adept at creating structure in undefined situations
• Prior experience in B2B SaaS is advantageous
