Senior Product Designer

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough user research to comprehend user needs, challenges, and behaviors, and effectively share those insights with the team

• Utilize research findings to guide and validate design choices, ensuring products resonate well with users

• Develop top-notch wireframes, low-fidelity and high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes to clearly convey design concepts

• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and design trends

• Uphold high standards for quality, usability, and attention to detail

• Provide design mentorship and direction to junior team members for consistent design excellence across projects

• Manage intricate design projects from inception to completion

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the design team

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align on design strategy and goals

• Bring clarity to ambiguous issues, outline tradeoffs clearly, and advocate for a user-centric approach

• Anticipate the impact of design decisions on workflows, teams, and product areas

• Contribute to design patterns, best practices, and consistency to enhance efficiency and coherence across the product

• Work with cross-functional teams to design AI-driven workflows and product experiences that empower users to take action and maintain control

• Establish effective patterns for trust, transparency, and human oversight in the context of intelligent capabilities

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in product design, demonstrating a track record of delivering successful user-focused design solutions

• Proficiency in Figma and other design tools (prototyping, wireframing, collaboration platforms)

• Experience in a fast-paced, agile environment and collaboration with diverse teams

• Deep knowledge of design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and information architecture

• Strong visual design skills, with a sharp eye for typography, color, and layout

• Excellent communication skills to convey design concepts, rationale, and tradeoffs to stakeholders and team members

• Ability to navigate uncertainty, articulate complex workflows, and link feature-level decisions to broader product and platform patterns

• Familiarity with using AI in the design process for ideation, synthesis, prototyping, content creation, and exploration

• Sound judgment on when AI can expedite the design process versus when human evaluation, refinement, or validation is necessary

• Experience with design systems and the capability to build and maintain design libraries

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
