📋 Description

• Identify and define issues, not just solve them.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and incorporate cutting-edge insights to drive innovation in our product strategies.

• Clearly communicate project objectives, ensuring context is understandable when sharing work with wider stakeholders.

• Design visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces using Gestalt principles and industry standards.

• Deliver precise, thorough work with minimal pixel distortions or misalignments, requiring less guidance on visual execution.

• Create interactive prototypes to showcase concepts for stakeholders and engineers.

• Oversee and enhance the EDB design system, maintaining consistency and coherence across all product interfaces.

• Develop detailed design system components and document usage patterns to uphold implementation standards.

• Conduct thorough usability testing sessions to collect and analyze user feedback.

• Refine designs based on feedback and data, ensuring the final output meets user needs.

• Actively participate in design team meetings and critiques, offering constructive feedback to enhance peer work.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure alignment and mutual understanding across projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience (5+ years) as a Product Designer, with a robust portfolio showcasing intricate applications and expertise in visual/interaction design.

• Proficiency in Figma (or similar tools) with a track record of producing high-quality, 'pixel-perfect' designs.

• Utilization of AI tools to expedite the design process, including digesting complex technical requirements and creating rapid, clickable prototypes for validation.

• Experience not only using design systems but also contributing to, managing, and evolving them.

• Ability to plan and conduct comprehensive usability testing sessions and implement design enhancements based on findings.

• Strong capability to explain the rationale behind design choices to non-designers.

• History of fostering inclusive team environments and willingness to embrace new challenges enthusiastically.
