• Work closely with teams in Product, Engineering, Research, and Marketing to create impactful product experiences.
• Design with a holistic approach across various products to ensure consistency and attention to detail.
• Transform user insights into user-friendly and scalable design solutions.
• Contribute to the enhancement of Everway’s design system for uniformity, scalability, and accessibility.
• Utilize AI-powered design methods and tools to streamline workflows, boost creativity, and enhance accessibility outcomes.
• Develop and showcase design concepts, prototypes, and solutions that align with user and business objectives.
• Uphold inclusive design principles and exceed WCAG standards in all projects.
• Collaborate with researchers to integrate user feedback into design iterations.
• Lead workshops, design reviews, and co-creation sessions with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Set an example of design excellence, sharing expertise and fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
• Minimum of 3 years in product design with a portfolio showcasing impactful, user-centric designs.
• Demonstrated experience in applying inclusive design practices and accessibility standards.
• Ability to transition between detailed product design work and strategic cross-product thinking with a focus on the bigger picture.
• Hands-on involvement in developing and refining design systems.
• Proficiency in modern design tools like Figma.
• Familiarity with AI-driven design tools and a keen interest in AI's role in shaping design's future.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to justify design choices to stakeholders.
• Understanding of product development methodologies such as Agile, Lean UX, Design Thinking, and continuous discovery.
• Experience in facilitating collaborative frameworks like design sprints, co-creation sessions, or design critiques.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in designing user-centered SaaS products (preferred).
• Knowledge of educational technology and its specific challenges (preferred).
• Advanced prototyping skills (e.g., Protopie, AI-assisted prototyping tools) are a plus (preferred).
