• Seeking a seasoned Senior Product Designer to spearhead and take ownership of key initiatives within our platform.
• Spearhead and take ownership of crucial features within our product experiences, contributing to shaping the vision for our product by identifying fresh opportunities and prioritizing enhancements.
• Collaborate with diverse teams (developers, product managers, experience researchers, content designers, fellow designers) to drive design executions for internal tools that cater to the needs of both our internal and external customers.
• Employ strategic thinking to visualize ideas and concepts, effectively and compellingly communicating them to internal stakeholders, partners, and customers.
• Cultivate positive, collaborative relationships with product management, development, marketing, and the broader UX team while consistently striving to elevate team effectiveness.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration efforts such as workshops & design sprints to generate and assess creative solutions.
• Utilize cross-functional leadership skills to steer, enhance, and implement design and feedback processes.
• Act as a mentor for junior designers, actively engaging in critique, design reviews, and planning.
• Develop detailed user flows, wireframes, etc., effectively communicating UX to relevant teams and justifying decision-making processes.
• Draft and maintain UX documentation on design elements, patterns, layouts, and user flows, including usage guidelines and best practices.
• Address and design for the complete user experience, encompassing edge-cases and scenarios of user dissatisfaction.
• Monitor the impact of your work through user feedback and data insights to identify opportunities for ongoing improvement.
• Possess over 6 years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role.
• Demonstrate a track record of designing top-notch digital products that have yielded results, showcasing the depth of your design skills through a portfolio or case studies.
• Display expert knowledge of the entire product design process, showcasing prowess in product strategy, distilling user tasks, journey mapping, information architecture, interaction design, and user interface design.
• Exhibit strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to convey complex concepts effectively across various audiences and organizational levels.
• Demonstrate an ability to assess the customer and business impact of your design choices within and beyond your product domain.
• Possess extensive experience in steering and implementing user-centered design processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and product research.
• Showcase excellent communication and storytelling skills, enabling your team and stakeholders to grasp the reasoning behind your design decisions.
• Understand front-end code, technology limitations, and possess a profound understanding of engineers' requirements you have collaborated with previously.
• Maintain a curious mindset, staying informed about the latest updates and techniques.
• Embrace a teaching role, guiding others on best practices and cutting-edge techniques.
• Proactively initiate action, think systemically, and comfortably transform ambiguity into tangibility by leveraging design thinking techniques.
• Proficient in Figma and other design and prototyping tools.
