• GeneDx, a leading genomics diagnostics company, is in search of a Senior Product Designer with exceptional skills and empathy to enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and clinical experts to create digital solutions that are intuitive, efficient, and engaging for our clinicians and patients.
• Play a key role in defining user journeys and ensuring that our products enable quick and effective healthcare for our patients.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for customer research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain insights into the challenges and requirements of clinicians.
• Analyze and synthesize user research findings to guide product and engineering strategies.
• Lead the design process from concept to implementation, producing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to support the engineering team and ensure seamless feature delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and clinical and commercial team members to ensure that design solutions align with business objectives, technical limitations, and user expectations.
• Continuously test, measure, and refine designs based on user feedback and product performance.
• Present and articulate design concepts and decisions to ensure alignment and comprehension across leadership and colleagues in product, engineering, and commercial departments.
• Minimum of 6 years of product design experience, preferably in digital healthcare solutions.
• Proficient in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent. Strong grasp of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design.
• Extensive experience in conducting user research (qualitative and quantitative) and usability testing, with the ability to translate insights into practical and engaging design solutions.
• Knowledge of healthcare workflows, clinical settings, and the challenges faced by clinicians in their daily practice.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams, present design concepts clearly, and advocate for user-centered design principles.
• Self-motivated with a proactive mindset, prioritizing action and progress over perfection.
