• As a mid-level role, you will collaborate with the Principal Designer to drive design within your squad and work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
• Utilize discovery and data-driven delivery to create solutions that engage Pet Health Club members in new ways and improve outcomes for pets in clinics.
• Conduct user research to understand our clients (pet owners), patients (pets), and healthcare professionals (vets) without prior industry knowledge.
• Engage in quick wins and big opportunities, hypothesis testing, brainstorming, prototyping, and iterative design to address user needs and preferences.
• Communicate strategic thoughts behind creative decisions to partners across departments.
• Demonstrated experience in creating and delivering intuitive digital experiences.
• Strong skills in UX, UI, and interaction design, with the ability to solve user problems effectively.
• Display kindness, humility, and authenticity in interactions with teammates and a passion for continuous improvement and collaboration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on connecting with users and providing actionable feedback.
• Proficiency in Figma, experience with Design Systems, and a background in healthcare and legacy system design.
• Familiarity with variables, auto-layout, and advanced Figma features.
