• Take the lead in designing the core feature management experience, covering flag creation, targeting, cleanup, and cross-environment workflows.
• Drive discovery, research, and strategy for new investments in Foundations and Next, such as predictive targeting, toolbar inspector modes, and AI-native workflows.
• Simplify complex developer workflows by transforming configuration-heavy experiences into intuitive, reliable, and scalable UX patterns.
• Develop design systems beyond screens: encompassing information architecture, navigation, patterns, and ensuring consistency across the platform.
• Produce high-quality design artifacts (flows, prototypes, specs) to facilitate engineering clarity and efficient iteration loops.
• Collaborate closely with engineering to grasp technical constraints, data models, integration patterns, and influence early implementation.
• Create frameworks and reusable patterns to enhance future work as new capabilities merge into developer tools, agents, and AI interactions.
• Advocate for developers by basing decisions on research, testing, telemetry, and qualitative feedback from real workflows.
• Contribute to the design system by evolving components and interaction patterns supporting highly configurable, state-heavy experiences.
• Act as a design leader within the triad, fostering alignment, resolving ambiguity, and providing clarity on direction and trade-offs.
• Mentor peers, promote critique culture, and elevate the overall quality standard for craftsmanship.
• 6–8 years of experience in designing complex products, preferably in developer tools, technical platforms, or configuration-heavy SaaS systems.
• Proficiency in interaction design, information architecture, and system modeling; ability to identify underlying patterns beyond the UI.
• Skill in translating highly technical concepts (rules, contexts, targeting logic, multi-environment behavior) into clear, user-friendly experiences.
• Capability to lead end-to-end design processes: from discovery to concept, prototype, validation, implementation, and value monitoring.
• Comfort in working directly with APIs, SDK concepts, developer workflows, or similar technical constraints.
• Experience in designing for multi-surface journeys (web app, browser extensions, IDE extensions, agent-driven workflows).
• Strong communication and storytelling abilities to collaborate and align with PM, Engineering, Docs, Research, GTM, and leadership.
• A portfolio showcasing systemic thinking, clear rationale, and measurable impact.
