Senior Product Designer

📋 Description

• Help shape long-term strategy for Cards and related products at Mercury.

• Lead design solutions to scale experiences and abstract complexities.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing partners.

• Work across the entire design stack including workflows and interactions.

• Find elegant solutions to user problems.

• Simplify and cull design elements.

• Craft designs from first principles.

• Prototype UX concepts and narrow to the right solution.

• Communicate product decision reasoning and solutions with the team.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the design industry.

• Experience in fintech, banking, or regulated industries preferred.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners at senior levels.

• Comfortable running quantitative & qualitative research.

• Strong understanding of metrics for design decisions.

• Interest in the entire design stack (UI/UX, visual, interaction design).

• Experience building for various form factors (mobile, web).

• Understand when no design is the best design.

• Balance between perfect design and market readiness.

• Exhibit kindness and humility in interactions.

• Enjoy working with fellow designers.
