• Lead the complete design process for key areas of our platform, from initial research and prototyping to finalized designs ready for production.
• Take charge of user discovery and validation by engaging with users, conducting interviews, testing hypotheses, and translating insights into actionable strategies.
• Establish and monitor design success metrics such as usability, activation, retention, and conversion rates to align design efforts with tangible business outcomes.
• Emphasize outcomes over outputs by creating designs that genuinely enhance user experiences, not just adding new features or interfaces.
• Develop and enhance our design system for various front-end technologies (Next.js, Angular) to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize initiatives that bring value to both users and the business.
• Quickly prototype ideas, using tools like Figma or code, to explore concepts early and minimize the cost of experimentation.
• Contribute to the growth of the design team by mentoring colleagues, providing feedback, and shaping team workflows.
• Clearly communicate design insights and decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience as a Product Designer in a B2B SaaS setting (experience with developer-centric products is advantageous).
• Possess a naturally curious mindset, constantly questioning and delving deep into user and business contexts.
• Ability to independently plan and execute user research activities.
• Strong UX and UI design skills showcased through a portfolio demonstrating problem-solving in complex interfaces like dashboards and tools.
• Experience in defining and monitoring success metrics for design outcomes.
• Proficient in design systems, accessibility, and responsive design principles.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities, capable of working independently while aligning with cross-functional teams effectively.
• Comfortable with remote and asynchronous work in a fully distributed environment.
