• Lead end-to-end design projects for Instacart+ and Incentives, including problem definition, exploration, prototyping, and final delivery
• Create subscription and promotional experiences for various platforms such as home, browse, cart, checkout, post-order, and lifecycle touchpoints
• Clearly define issues, explore various solutions, and make decisions based on customer insights, experiments, and business impact
• Develop flows, content structure, and interaction patterns in line with Instacart's design system and brand principles
• Utilize AI-driven prototyping and concept development to ensure high-quality designs that meet system requirements
• Collaborate with system owners to maintain consistency and quality in design across subscription and incentive surfaces
• Work with Research and Data Science teams to analyze subscription behavior insights and incorporate them into journey improvements
• Assist in defining value propositions, naming conventions, and messaging for Instacart+ and Incentives, creating clear artifacts for cross-functional alignment
• Promote user-centered solutions and provide constructive feedback and mentorship within the team to enhance overall quality
• Minimum 6 years of experience in designing consumer-facing digital products for web and mobile platforms
• Portfolio showcasing end-to-end feature or journey designs, including complex flows and lifecycle touchpoints
• Background in digital commerce, audience growth, subscription services, incentives, pricing strategies, or monetization initiatives
• Proficiency in Figma and Google Slides to create high-fidelity UI and interaction designs consistent with design systems
• Track record of linking design choices to measurable outcomes like activation, retention, and conversion rates, and collaborating on experiments
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced and uncertain environment
• Strong communication skills for problem framing, tradeoff articulation, and design rationale presentations to diverse teams
