📋 Description

• Take charge of designing AI-powered workflows: Lead the creation of essential workflows in Superhuman Mail, enabling users to focus on their priorities and navigate through their daily tasks efficiently.

• Manage the design process from inception to execution: Guide the design process from initial ideas and sketches to interactive prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and final implementation.

• Conduct thorough research and competitor analysis: Utilize qualitative and quantitative research to understand customer needs and analyze competitors to gain insights. Use customer feedback to enhance the product experience and boost user engagement.

• Uphold high design standards: Enhance the design culture at Superhuman by consistently delivering top-quality design work.

• Impact product strategy: Collaborate with product, research, and data teams to shape the team's vision and develop projects that align with company goals. Communicate design updates effectively to leadership for input and approval.

• Ensure top-notch delivery: Partner with engineering to ensure timely development of high-quality, user-friendly experiences. Provide guidance on design and interaction patterns to product and engineering colleagues.

• Work in a supportive environment: Collaborate with a team of designers who provide constructive feedback, openly share ideas, and contribute to each other's professional growth.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in similar product design roles.

• Proficiency in product design fundamentals, including visual and interaction design, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy. Strong prototyping skills and attention to detail to create premium user experiences.

• Experience and interest in AI-powered products, focusing on trust, speed, and user control in design.

• Ability to work through all stages of design, from initial wireframes to high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and final products.

• Strong collaborator with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and providing clarity.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

• Portfolio showcasing expertise in problem framing, interaction design, and high-quality execution.

• Location: Open to joining offices in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York, or working remotely from anywhere in the United States or Canada.
