Senior Product Designer - New Business Line

📋 Description

• Wealthfront is looking for a senior product designer to work on a new business line.

• Reporting directly to the VP of Design, this role will be joining a tight team of very senior designers.

• Wealthfront pioneered automated investing by offering broad access to sophisticated investing strategies at a fraction of the cost of traditional financial advisers.

• Since then, we’ve continued to expand the ways we help our clients build long-term wealth through saving, investing, and more.

• You’ll collaborate closely with other designers and cross-functional partners on your team to define the direction for your work.

• You’ll build on quantitative and qualitative research to craft delightful experiences that meet our customer and business goals.

• Success in this role will require strong communication skills, critical thinking, a high bar for craft, and executional excellence.

• Passion or past experience building consumer financial technology products is highly desirable.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience in a consumer software company

• You have a portfolio of high-quality work that shows your experience designing elegant and visually engaging solutions to complex problems that directly solve user needs

• You take a structured, intentional approach to your work, leveraging frameworks and principles to articulate your design decisions

• You have experience collaborating with product managers, researchers, and content designers in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment

• You can demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to communicate and present ideas clearly.

• You’re a reliable self-starter who can steer their work with minimal oversight

• You love designing for the entire product process from strategy to pixel—and can demonstrate a range of skills from high-level flows to detailed interactions

• You’re an exceptional product thinker who takes a deep interest in understanding business and customer needs
