• Spearhead the design direction for our orchestration features, crafting user experiences that streamline technical workflows for enterprise clients
• Develop AI-driven functionalities for CI/CD, empowering developers to enhance their dbt code and identify issues proactively before they impact operations
• Establish cohesive interactions bridging dbt Core and dbt Cloud, expanding accessibility to enterprise-level features for a wider user base
• Guide ideas from research to implementation while closely collaborating with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers
• Conduct user research sessions with data professionals in various time zones to gain deep insights into their needs and validate proposed solutions
• Actively engage with the Design team by sharing your work, participating in design critiques, and supporting colleagues in enhancing their projects
• Contribute to our design system to uphold uniformity and effectiveness across our product range
• Possess over 8 years of experience in designing web-based applications and tools, focusing on solutions for enterprise users
• Demonstrated track record of delivering technical products that meet the needs of enterprise clients
• Profound understanding of the complete design process, from initial exploration to post-launch refinements
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey design rationale to technical stakeholders
• Proficiency in Figma or other contemporary design and collaboration platforms
• Ability to adjust work hours to align with the ET timezone for team collaboration
• Willingness to adapt schedules as needed for user research activities with clients in different time zones
