📋 Description

• Take charge of all design elements in projects from start to finish, collaborating closely with diverse agile teams to craft seamless and engaging product experiences for our users.

• Provide strategic input to product development, ensuring that we deliver the right solutions for our customers while considering the evolution of our platform and product roadmap.

• Play a key role in enhancing our platform by integrating core trading workflows and user needs in a holistic manner.

• Partner with product leadership to shape product strategy, influence the future of our trading platform, and champion user-centric design principles.

• Enhance the product experience at Addepar through exceptional interaction design, intuitive workflows, and effective data visualization, especially for intricate financial data.

• Utilize user research insights and product metrics to guide design concepts, influence product prioritization, strategies, and roadmaps, ensuring data-driven decision-making.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure that designs are feasible and implemented to a high standard.

• Contribute to the growth, development, and adoption of the Addepar Product Language design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across our range of products.

• Actively seek and embrace feedback from colleagues and cross-functional partners, providing constructive feedback, empowerment, and mentorship to foster design excellence and growth within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of portfolio management, client reporting, and compliance requirements in financial services, especially in the front office context.

• Extensive experience in designing software to support advisors and portfolio managers in evaluating and managing portfolios according to the firm's recommended approach.

• Enthusiasm for systematic design, scalable information architecture, and streamlined workflows, with a demonstrated ability to utilize complex data visualization to create practical solutions for financial users.

• Proven track record in product design, interaction design, and UX design, with a solid grasp of user-centered design principles.

• A portfolio showcasing strong UI design, sound user-centered design practices, and proficient prototyping skills.

• Proficient in crafting web products and user interfaces for enterprise users, focusing on usability and efficiency.

• Passion for simplifying complex use cases into sophisticated, scalable, and optimized design solutions.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively explain design decisions to diverse audiences.

• Self-motivated and proactive team player who excels in a fast-paced, agile environment and thrives on collaborative work.

• Detail-oriented with a sharp eye for visual consistency and attention to detail.

• Experience using Figma, our primary design tool.

• Experience in a B2B SaaS environment, particularly in the wealth management sector, is a significant advantage.
