• Take the lead in translating strategic concepts into impactful product experiences that cater to user needs, brand identity, and technical feasibility.
• Enhance and advance Firefox's visual and interaction design systems to ensure uniformity and excellence on both desktop and mobile platforms.
• Provide production-ready assets and specifications, oversee the implementation process, release, and post-release activities to evaluate success and learn collaboratively with a diverse team.
• Actively participate in the UX design team by suggesting innovative ideas, sharing work regularly, and offering constructive feedback to maintain a consistent design language and product experience.
• Conduct usability tests on design prototypes and leverage existing Firefox research and data to uncover insights that address business and user challenges.
• Promote and integrate best practices for inclusive design.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in UX/Product Design with a broad perspective and a robust portfolio showcasing visual excellence, system-level thinking, and user-centric solutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in visual design with a keen eye for design craftsmanship, encompassing layout, typography, color, and accessibility across desktop and mobile platforms. The portfolio should feature visually captivating product experiences, as well as process and reasoning behind design choices.
• Proficiency in designing scalable UI systems and consistently delivering engaging, user-centered, and delightful solutions.
• Experience in agile product development and UI design for both desktop and mobile devices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions in ambiguous situations.
• Strong communication skills, effective collaboration abilities, and a contribution to fostering a supportive and inclusive team environment.
