Senior Staff Product Designer

📋 Description

• Play a key role in shaping the end-to-end design of our most intricate product experiences, specifically focusing on multi-team or cross-surface workflows

• Lead the way in designing and prototyping innovative user experiences, particularly those centered around new AI-focused UX

• Collaborate with fellow designers and developers to transform intricate models into user-friendly and efficient interfaces

• Contribute to the overarching vision and implementation of our core UI/UX, translating user insights and business objectives into scalable and future-proof design solutions

• Maintain high standards for interaction, visual, and systems design, ensuring that our experiences are deliberate, accessible, and well-executed at every touchpoint

• Assist in refining our design system to promote consistency, usability, and long-term growth, with a focus on component-based UI development

• Incorporate conversational UX and AI considerations into the design system

• Work closely with front-end engineering to facilitate a smooth and effective workflow from design to implementation

• Engage with designers and contractors to cultivate a collaborative, inclusive, and trust-based design environment

• Advocate for design excellence and user experience best practices throughout the product, design, and development teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing complex digital products, with a track record of leading significant UI/UX initiatives in SaaS or platform settings

• Strong portfolio showcasing strategic systems thinking, comprehensive product design, and a thorough end-to-end process

• Previous experience in designing for AI or ML products is advantageous

• Demonstrated ability to influence and lead design efforts across various product areas or teams without direct authority

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and extensive experience in contributing to design systems

• Excellent collaboration, communication, and facilitation skills

• Proven capability to work autonomously in a distributed, fast-paced environment

• Experience experimenting with AI tools in personal or professional settings, or a strong willingness to learn
