• Lead the entire design process, crafting user-friendly interfaces, user flows, and interactive prototypes that captivate users visually.
• Take charge of developing new features, starting from research and concept creation to design and user validation.
• Perform focused user research and usability testing to deeply grasp the needs of customers and stakeholders, guiding design choices.
• Collaborate closely with product managers to define product requirements and transform them into practical design solutions.
• Interact actively with engineering teams to ensure the feasibility and top-notch execution of designs.
• Continuously improve our current product by identifying areas for enhancement and suggesting innovative solutions.
• Advocate for and contribute to the development of design guidelines, standards, and best practices throughout the organization.
• Manage relationships and foster alignment with internal stakeholders.
• Work effectively with dispersed teams across various time zones, including North America, Europe, and New Zealand.
• Lead design projects not directly related to features, like ensuring seamless integration of multiple products' aesthetics.
• Possess a minimum of 6 years of proven experience as a Product Designer, with a preference for expertise in designing intricate, technical SaaS products.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrate the ability to tackle challenging design issues and transform complex ideas into elegant, user-friendly solutions. Simplify project scope, complexity, and ambiguity to a manageable level.
• Exhibit exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in Figma and familiar with other design and prototyping tools.
• Experience with design component libraries, knowing when to utilize existing components or create new ones.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; skilled in collaborating effectively with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders. Actively participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven track record of working within Agile/Scrum methodologies in cross-functional teams.
• A proactive, independent worker who can manage priorities efficiently in a remote, dynamic startup environment.
