Staff Product Designer - Design Systems

📋 Description

• Take ownership and lead the enhancement of our Design System by introducing new components, patterns, and tools.

• Enhance and expand quality, usability, consistency, and accessibility throughout our product line.

• Collaborate with Designers, Engineers, Content Designers, Researchers, and leadership to align Design Systems work with user needs, company strategy, and the product roadmap.

• Conduct and participate in user research to evaluate usability and make iterative improvements based on feedback.

• Establish efficient processes and tools for internal teams, such as creating and managing libraries, patterns, and templates in Figma.

• Promote product excellence by coaching designers and stakeholders on best practices, including active participation in design reviews.

• Advocate for accessibility and inclusion within the Design System to ensure our product is accessible to a diverse user base.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess 10+ years of relevant experience in developing high-quality and impactful design systems for growing, multi-product companies.

• Demonstrate a strong portfolio highlighting the design systems you have created.

• Exhibit exceptional UI, UX, and visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Embrace a systems thinking approach to effectively scale impact.

• Ability to balance business objectives, team processes, and user requirements.

• Proficient in simplifying complex problems into clear solutions and effectively communicating them to leaders and colleagues.
