Staff Product Designer, Investing

📋 Description

• Wealthfront is seeking a Staff Product Designer to join the Investing design team.

• You will report directly to the Senior Design Director for the Investing sector.

• Collaborate closely with your cross-functional team on projects to enhance and broaden our range of investing products.

• Guide projects through the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery and ongoing iteration.

• Work with fellow designers to enhance our craft and maintain high quality standards.

• Critical thinking, effective communication, and a collaborative approach are essential for success in this role.

• Seeking a versatile and productive designer excited about tackling various complex problems, utilizing rapid iteration and prototyping to advance projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of product design experience in a consumer software company.

• Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality work reflecting a high standard for visual and interaction design.

• Ability to articulate the impact of your work on the team and the business.

• Experience collaborating with product managers, researchers, and content designers in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

• Demonstrated strong organizational skills with clear communication and presentation abilities.

• Self-driven individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• Passion for designing across the entire product process, from strategy to pixel, and showcasing a diverse skill set from high-level flows to detailed interactions.

• Exceptional product thinker with a keen interest in understanding business and customer needs.
