Staff Product Designer

📋 Description

• Lead the design efforts for Sales Mode experiences from start to finish, including project creation, financing options, proposal personalization, and contract signing

• Develop a long-term vision and strategy for Sales Mode, aligning business objectives with customer needs to drive design direction

• Conduct research to identify key issues through customer interviews, workflow analysis, and data analysis to prioritize tasks

• Design and refine processes that cater to installers, financiers, and homeowners, considering various scenarios and compliance requirements

• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to define project milestones, address tradeoffs, and ensure successful implementation

• Contribute to enhancing design consistency and quality by providing design patterns and improving interaction models across the organization

• Drive team alignment by facilitating reviews, explaining decisions, and mentoring fellow designers through feedback and cooperation

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in product design, showcasing leadership on complex, cross-functional projects

• Proven ability to streamline complex workflows and create user-friendly experiences for multiple user personas

• Strong customer empathy, designing for real-world B2B constraints while prioritizing end-user experience

• Proficiency in data analysis, combining quantitative and qualitative insights to inform decisions and assess impact

• Strong product sense, making informed decisions, guiding teams through uncertainty, and maintaining project momentum without compromising quality

• High standards in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design, along with effective communication skills in a remote work setting

• Effective leadership skills, capable of influencing teams across Product, Engineering, and Sales departments
