• Lead the end-to-end design leadership for Sales Mode experiences, including project creation, financing options, proposal personalization, and contract signing
• Develop a multi-quarter experience vision and strategy for Sales Mode by aligning business goals and customer needs with clear design direction and roadmaps
• Conduct discovery to identify high-leverage problems through customer interviews, workflow analysis, and data analysis to prioritize effectively
• Design and iterate on flows that cater to the needs of installers, financiers, and homeowners, considering complex edge cases, compliance constraints, and approval flows
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to scope work into milestones, align on tradeoffs, and ensure high-quality implementation
• Enhance craft and consistency by contributing patterns to the design system and improving shared interaction models across Aurora
• Influence cross-team alignment by facilitating reviews, articulating rationale, and mentoring other designers through critique and collaboration
• Possess 8+ years of product design experience, showcasing leadership on complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Demonstrate the ability to simplify multi-step workflows and create intuitive experiences for multiple personas
• Exhibit deep customer empathy and experience designing for real-world B2B constraints while prioritizing end-user experience
• Display data fluency, utilizing quantitative signals with qualitative insight to guide decisions and measure impact
• Have excellent product thinking and judgment to make smart tradeoffs, align teams through ambiguity, and maintain velocity without compromising quality
• Uphold high standards for craft in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design, with clear storytelling and communication in a remote setting
• Possess collaborative leadership skills to influence teams across Product, Engineering, and Sales
