• The Associate Product Designer will provide support to the Product team by contributing to UI/UX design efforts for Dynatron's data-forward tools used in automotive service departments.
• Working under the guidance of the lead designer, you will take ownership of small-to-medium scoped projects from start to finish and assist in larger design initiatives.
• Responsibilities include participating in user research, usability testing, and accessibility reviews to transform insights into clear, practical solutions.
• This role will assist in design efforts across various projects, collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and Customer Success to deliver effective solutions.
• You will be involved in projects from problem discovery to delivery, aiming to simplify complex workflows, visualize performance metrics, enhance accessibility, and improve the usability of the SaaS platform.
• 2–4 years of experience in Product Design or UX/UI, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
• A portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX thinking, interaction design, and visual polish, including user flows, wireframes, and final UI work.
• Experience in user research, usability testing, and design synthesis, with the ability to translate findings into actionable solutions.
• Knowledge or interest in accessibility design, including WCAG/ADA compliance.
• Experience with designing data-dense interfaces, dashboards, or reporting tools.
• Proficiency in tools like Figma, design systems, tokens, components, and collaborative platforms like Miro.
• Ability to work independently on small projects and contribute effectively to larger initiatives as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to convey design rationale to technical and non-technical audiences.
• BA/BS in Design, HCI, or related field.
• Understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and usability.
• Capacity to take direction, iterate quickly, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to AI design tools or workflows is a plus and may lead to bonus consideration.
