•In the role of Lead Product Designer, you will be responsible for defining, advocating, and enhancing the overall UX vision and strategy across various product areas or an entire product line.

•You will lead and motivate a team of designers, offering strategic guidance and hands-on mentoring.

•Collaborating at the highest levels across functions, you will proactively identify strategic opportunities, solve complex systemic issues, and deliver innovative user-centered design solutions that foster significant business growth and user engagement.

•Playing a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction and comprehensive user experience of our products, you will directly impact product roadmaps and organizational priorities.

•Establishing and evolving design principles, patterns, and best practices, you will ensure a consistent, intuitive, and refined user experience across all touchpoints.

•Demonstrating exceptional skills in conceiving, shaping, and implementing innovative and impactful design solutions that set new benchmarks for product features, end-to-end journeys, and strategic initiatives.

•Building and fostering strong collaborative partnerships with Product, Engineering, Research, Content, and Business Leadership.

•Translating complex business objectives into clear, actionable design strategies and initiatives.

•Advocating for design excellence, championing user needs at the executive level, and contributing significantly to the growth of a world-class design organization by attracting, developing, and retaining top design talent.


⛳️ Requirements

•Possess a bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field, or have equivalent experience of 9+ years in UX/Product Design, with 2+ years in a leadership role.

•Showcase an outstanding portfolio highlighting a history of defining and executing design strategies for entire product areas or platforms, making significant organizational impact, and contributing to design culture and excellence.

•Master industry-standard design tools, lead best practices, and assess new tools/technologies for team adoption.

•Demonstrate expertise in research methodologies and tools, with the capability to define research strategy for a product line or team.

•Prove the ability to define and drive strategic user research initiatives that shape product vision and strategy across multiple product lines or the entire product.

•Have experience collaborating strategically with Research leaders.

•Possess exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, influencing executive leadership and building strong cross-functional partnerships at the highest levels.

•Inspire and empower design teams and cross-functional partners.

•Exhibit visionary understanding and application of user-centered design principles, usability, accessibility, and ethical design to set new standards and drive innovation across an organization.

•Articulate and advocate complex design strategies and their transformative impact on the business to executive stakeholders, addressing organizational challenges.

•Take ownership of the vision, strategy, and governance for enterprise-level design systems, ensuring their scalability, adoption, and ongoing evolution to support the entire product ecosystem. Lead and mentor designers in design system contribution.

•Location preference for this role is Austin, Texas.
