• Supervise the learning experience design process and course development team to create learner-centric materials and experiences
• Collaborate with academic leaders, educators, subject experts, and professionals to aid in curriculum and learning resource development
• Translate course vision into captivating instructional strategies and resources
• Create instructional content including refining learning objectives, sequencing materials, designing assessments, and activities
• Implement instructional design, eLearning Principles, adult learning theory, and game-based learning into curriculum designs for comprehensive student experiences
• Construct engaging courses in the learning management system with a focus on learners
• Establish realistic timelines for curriculum goals with the course development team and achieve development milestones for course launches
• Produce digital resources to enrich classroom learning
• Assist in developing supplementary guides for educators and students
• Incorporate feedback from students, faculty, and academic leaders, as well as performance data, to refine curricula and make necessary adjustments
• Aid in organizing surveys, exams, and assessments to evaluate curriculum effectiveness
• Stay updated on designated program portfolios and trends in instructional design, learning sciences, and educational technology
• Perform additional assigned duties as needed
• Possession of an Instructional Design certification
• Submission of an instructional design portfolio is mandatory
• Proficiency in video production, webpage/website development, and graphic design/layout
• Proficient in online course development, learner experience development, accessibility, and usability
• Knowledge of software and hardware used in technology-based instruction, including Learning Management Systems and AI edtech tools
• Familiarity with current and emerging instructional pedagogies, adult learning theories, learning outcome assessment, project management strategies, game-based learning, and learning sciences
• Understanding of Copyright and Fair Use regulations
• Strong collaboration, written, and verbal communication skills
• Basic planning skills, vision, and creative intelligence
• Passion for education
• Minimum 3 years of experience in consulting for and developing eLearning/instructional resources, training faculty and instructors, and creating digital instructional materials
