• Conduct research and contribute to research initiatives with various stakeholders and the Grafana user community
• Minimum 7 years of relevant design experience in B2B/enterprise software, preferably designing tools for technical users
• Demonstrated portfolio of effective designs for complex products in a fast-paced setting
• Experience conducting qualitative research in intricate fields to build empathy with users and understand their needs
• Ability to make design choices that balance business objectives, product priorities, customer feedback, research insights, and technical requirements
• Collaborative skills to work with teams across locations and time-zones to evolve products while maintaining the design vision
• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn about technical product spaces
