• Enhance the experience of millions of users worldwide by enabling them to fully utilize Loom and Atlassian products
• Take charge of and successfully execute intricate and impactful product design initiatives that elevate the standard of quality for our users, ranging from conceptual frameworks to UI design
• Shape Loom's strategy on enhancing collaboration with other Atlassian and external products, focusing on user perspectives
• Engage with diverse cross-functional teams (including Engineering, Product Management, Research, Design, Marketing, and Data Science) across our Atlassian product range
• Conduct user research using a variety of methods and principles to gain insights into customer requirements and guide design solutions
• Contribute to the enhancement of our Design System by developing new components, templates, and guidelines
• Mentor designers and contribute to fostering a design-centric culture that enables designers to excel in their work
• Possess a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Product Design
• Showcase an exceptional portfolio with compelling case studies demonstrating proficiency in typography, interaction and visual design, product intuition, and idea generation
• Demonstrate a strong UX design skill set encompassing design thinking methods, user research, persona development, concept modeling, flow diagrams, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, etc.
• Proficient in iterative design processes: continuously sketching, sharing work, validating with customers, iterating, shipping, and learning
• Experience in conducting and applying user research effectively
• Collaborative experience with diverse teams in a rapidly evolving environment
• Bonus points for experience working with remote team members and understanding communication dynamics in highly distributed teams
• Possess a growth mindset: ready to adapt to evolving team size and design processes, continuously striving for improvement and knowledge integration
